Now that Tully is through the jet lag, I've been able to turn my attention to the stacks of work waiting for me (which makes me think about how using the term "stacks of work" isn't really applicable anymore since most of my work is on the computer...few stacks...but I'll save finding a new term for another day).
Except, of course, for the fact that, yes, I currently do have a stack to which I must attend. Page proofs of THIRSTY. I've got about two weeks to read the typeset pages of THIRSTY...look for typos, make sure everything is where it's supposed to be, check chapter titles, make sure all my changes in the last review were input, etc. It's a wonderful job to be doing (and it's very cool to see the typeset pages). Then back to my publisher.
The other part of my work right now is writing all the copy for the THIRSTY website...a big job that seems endless right now but won't be, I'm sure.
FYI, I'm working with an incredible web designer. (Check out http://www.visualgui.com...then go to the link "Motion." Amazing stuff.)
And oh, yeah, THIRSTY is available for pre-order at amazon.com and Swallow Press (http://www.ohioswallow.com/book/Thirsty). Go on...get your copy now.
