Okay, every time I get comfortable with my ayi (domestic helper in China) and think, yeah, this woman's got her shit together, my feet get pulled right out from under me.
A few days ago I was feeding my daughter. In the middle of dinner, I realized I'd forgotten her cup of milk. I went into the kitchen to get it. I found my ayi cleaning this....
With this...
You know...Shout...the cleaner that gets stains...OUT OF CLOTHES!
My first reaction was to laugh. Somewhat hysterically...
My second reaction was to ask, "Why?" (to which she answered, "I didn't read the bottle. You (meaning me) set it on the kitchen counter so I assumed it was for cleaning in the kitchen."
Huh? I employ a Filipina ayi, not a Chinese ayi. She is fluent in English--speaking, reading, and writing. She's smart.
My third reaction was to ask, "How long have you been cleaning our pots and pans with Shout?" (to which she answer, "A few weeks.")
My fourth reaction was to ask, "Are you cleaning anything else with it?" (to which she answered, "The countertops, sinks, cupboards, and greasy spots on the floor.")
which explains why our kitchen has been so unbelievably slippery for the past few weeks...
My fifth reaction, well, I just put up my hands, grabbed Tully's milk, sighed, and walked out.
I certainly didn't want to ask want she using to get stains out of clothes.

So here you have it, a frozen yogurt like recipe using So Delicious Coconut Milk Kefir.
Because coconut milk kefir is so low in fat, I combined it with full fat coconut milk to prevent it from turning out like ice milk and freezing up to an icy block when placed in the freezer. Make sure the coconut milk you buy contains at least 10 grams of fat per 2 ounces, which is per 1/4 cup). You can use Thai Kitchen, Whole Foods Brand, or something from an Asian market.
